My experiences looking for Alaska

Entry 2
I have started reading looking for Alaska i found it to be a really good book to the point that i have read around 3 times my normal goals for reading.  I greatly enjoyed the book until the major event of the book happened which changed to tone so drastically in the book it doesn't feel like the same book anymore.

Now even though i greatly dislike the change in the book i feel that it was a really smart move on his part to show how fast the world can change, but it was not without its fair warning the main bit of foreshadowing was the quote "We did not say: Don't drive. You're drunk.  We did not say: We aren't letting you in that car when you are upset. We did not say: We insist on going with you. We did not say: This can wait until tomorrow. Anything-everything-can wait." This is a good example of the author foreshadowing(Spoilers) the death of Alaska. even though i dis like the turn of the book i will continue to read it and see how it ends.

Hi my name is Matt Ferguson I'm a student at Hebron high school. I am not the most ambitious reader, but I have wanted to become more of one recently. Outside of school I don't read much unless I find a series that I really enjoy then I will read around four books in about a week. So as for my overall goals I don't quite expect myself to read that much but I want to read at least one book in two weeks currently I'm reading a non-fiction book called wild blue it's about blue whales and how they have progressed in life after we hunted to near extinction. The book includes people's methods of hunting them, and what we used them for.  Currently I like the book but at times it can be a little hard to read but I'm going to stick it through because its a required book.
